Bot Analytics
Every bot has an Analytics page: a thirty-day chart, four counters and two summary panels.
Is My Bot Producing Leads#
Conversion Rate is the counter that answers it: today's leads as a percentage of today's conversations.
A lead counts once a workflow's End node or automated lead tracking writes it to the leads table. A bot that writes nothing to the leads table reports 0% however well the conversations went. See how a lead is captured.
What Each Counter Counts#
| Counter | What drives it | Window |
|---|---|---|
| Active Conversations | Sessions still marked active and updated recently | The last 15 minutes |
| Conversations Today | Each conversation, the first time it becomes billable | Today |
| Messages per Conversation | Every message in the thread, divided by conversations | Today |
| Conversion Rate | Leads written to the leads table, divided by conversations | Today |
Conversations Today moves as each conversation becomes billable. The other figures refresh about every five minutes.
Messages per Conversation counts the bot's replies, system messages and workflow results as well as the visitor's, so a conversation with four visitor questions scores well above four.
Conversations Today reports a percentage change against yesterday. Conversion Rate reports the difference in percentage points, so a rate moving from 10% to 12% reports as 2, not 20.
The Chart#
Thirty days of conversations a day and leads a day, with sentiment broken into positive, neutral and negative.
The channel selector filters the chart and not the counters. Web Chat covers every widget session, including one served by the WordPress plugin, so the WordPress option returns nothing.
The Same Rate on the Dashboard Home#
The dashboard home carries Conversion Rate for the whole workspace over the last 30 days, where this page covers one bot today, so expect the two to disagree.
The home figure also includes conversions counted by Mark as Goal Completed, an End node option Chatleadr has since withdrawn. Until those days leave the 30-day window, the home figure can read higher than your leads alone.
Estimated Hours Saved, on the same row, is an estimate rather than a measurement: it allows one staff minute for every message the bot sent over those 30 days.
Quick Insights and Top User Questions#
Top User Questions is written by a model reading recent conversations: it groups similar questions, estimates a count for each, and shows at most five. Quick Insights compares the last three days against the rest of the month for volume, leads and sentiment.
Both cover the bot as a whole, so neither follows the channel selector.
How Long the History Lasts#
Daily figures are kept for 13 months on every plan, and the chart shows the most recent thirty days. Conversation transcript retention is separate and does vary by plan.
Common Questions#
Why Does the Page Not Match What I Just Did?#
The figures are rewritten about every five minutes, so wait for the next pass. Conversations Today also increments live as conversations become billable.
Why Is My Conversion Rate 0% When I Am Getting Leads?#
Conversion Rate counts leads written to the leads table. A workflow ending at an End node set to None counts nothing, whatever the conversation achieved, and so does a lead sent only to email or ClickUp with the row that writes the leads table switched off. See the End node.
Do Test Conversations Count?#
Yes. The dashboard preview runs the same widget against the same endpoint as your website, so it is charged and counted like any other conversation.
Can I See Analytics Across All My Bots?#
Not on this page, which is per bot. The dashboard home carries the workspace totals, over thirty days rather than today.
