Put Your Own Logo on the Dashboard

Your logo replaces the Chatleadr wordmark in the dashboard header for everyone in your workspace, and at the top of the lead alert emails your bots send. An agency builds a bot, invites the client in, and the client signs in to a dashboard carrying the agency's mark rather than ours.

You upload one logo, on the workspace that pays the bill, and every client workspace under it carries the same one.

Five minutes, an image file under 500KB, and the Agency plan. See plans and limits.

  1. Open Workspace settings and select the Branding tab.
  2. Under Your logo, select Upload a logo.
  3. Choose your file. The logo saves as soon as you choose it, and the preview shows it drawn the way the header draws it.

To change the logo later, select Replace logo. Remove puts the Chatleadr wordmark back across the dashboard and the lead emails.

What to Upload#

Chatleadr accepts a PNG, a JPEG or a WebP. An SVG is refused. The limit is 500KB and it is checked in your browser, so an oversized file is refused straight away rather than after the upload.

Whatever you send is stored as a PNG, and a transparent background is kept. The header draws the logo 44 pixels tall, leaves the width free, and caps it at 184 pixels wide, so a wide logo reads best. A tall square one is scaled down to the same height and ends up small.

Where Your Logo Appears, and Where the Chatleadr Mark Stays#

Your logo appears in the dashboard header on every page, for every member of the workspace including somebody you invited as a viewer, and in the workflow editor, which replaces the header rather than sitting under it. It also appears at the top of the lead alert email a bot sends when it captures a lead.

The Chatleadr wordmark stays on the sign-in and sign-up screens, because nobody is signed in to a workspace at that point, and on invitation and workspace transfer emails, which come from us to your customer rather than from you.

It also stays on the chat window a visitor sees, because that is a separate switch in a bot's widget settings: Remove the "Powered by Chatleadr" line from the chat window, listed on the plans table as Chatleadr branding removed. The colours, launcher and layout of the widget are a different setting again, listed as Custom widget branding, and they start on a lower plan. Widget appearance has both.

The Logo Belongs to the Workspace That Pays#

A client workspace cannot set a logo of its own. Its Branding tab says "This workspace is billed through another one, and the logo is set there."

Upload once, on the workspace that pays the bill, and every client workspace under it shows that logo to everyone in it, including somebody invited as a viewer.

If the Plan Lapses#

The Chatleadr wordmark returns immediately, in the dashboard and in the lead emails. Your file is kept, and your logo comes back when the plan does. You do not upload it again.

If It Does Not Work#

  • There is no Branding tab. It is shown to owners and admins. A viewer sees the logo and cannot change it. Check your role on roles and permissions.
  • The file was refused. An SVG is not accepted, and neither is anything over 500KB. The message names the size of the file you chose.
  • The tab says the logo is set elsewhere. You are in a client workspace. Switch to the workspace that pays the bill and set it there.
